Mitoy Yonting the first ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ Champion

Mitoy YontingMitoy Yonting coached by multi-awarded Broadway star Lea Salonga. make it on top as he won the first season of the ABS-CBN talent search “The Voice of the Philippines” Sunday night after a hard competition between Klarisse de Guzman, Myk Perez and Janice Javier in a star-studded finale hels at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.

Mitoy Yonting won for a cash prize of P2 million, an Asian tour package for two, a new car, and a four-year recording contract with MCA Universal.
